This ultimate 10 session program of speed training comes with professional set up of time testing system – electronic precision timing device. The training components will include speed, agility and quickness, multi-directional movements, plyometrics ability, resistance training and assisted training. We aim to make you faster, stronger and fitter!
BSc Sports Science, qualified NSCA CSCS, IAAF level 4 (new system) – Coach Melvin and Coach Alfred have been coaching a few of Singapore’’s best sprinters and hurdlers.
Calvin Kang is our National Junior record holder with the time of 10.53s. He went on to represent the Nation in the Beijing Olympics 2008. Abdul Hakeem broke a 47 years old 110m Hurdles record after 2 years of training with Coach Alfred. Under his coaching guidance, several school level athletes clinched top 3 in the sprints and hurdles events in the National Schools Championship. His systematic way of coaching and versatile approach to training system, allows him to communicate and work very closely with his athletes.
In MAST Speed, we strongly believe in Youth and Junior development. We focus on skill acquisition and technique. This is to build a strong base for all sports, not just in Athletics.
